MDR is the french acronym for "Mort De Rire" literally meaning "dead of laughter" (an equivalent to the english "lol").

Artist Biography

Maïa Taïeb is a french Amsterdam Based artist. Studying audiovisual arts at the Rietveld academie, she likes to work with video as well as building objects and props. Often political and sometimes humouristic, her work explores themes around youth, materialistic imagination and social violences.
